Go Live¶
Production API keys are issued after your integration has been reviewed. This step covers the Pre-Live Certification call, the EFT disclosure, and receiving your production keys.
Before You Start¶
- Your integration works end to end in the sandbox environment, from setting up an offering through settlement and returns.
- Webhooks are registered for the methods your platform relies on. See Register Webhooks.
- You know the fees that apply in production: a one-time fee, a monthly fee set by call-volume tier, and fees for billed methods. See the Fee Schedule.
Steps¶
1. Schedule the Pre-Live Certification call¶
Email techsupport@northcapital.com to schedule your Pre-Live Certification. The call is a dry run of your integration that reviews:
- Investor onboarding: party, account, and link creation, with all required fields passing through correctly
- Accredited investor verification
- Money movement process flow
- DocuSign integration, if you use it
- Returns process
- KYC and AML checks
- Broker-dealer requirements
Details of the certification process are in the Pre-Live Certification guide.
2. Add the EFT disclosure¶
Add the North Capital EFT Disclosure to your website's terms of service. This is required for all clients using North Capital's payment rails before going live.
3. Receive your production keys¶
Once your sandbox integration is set up and you have completed the Pre-Live Certification, North Capital gives you access to your production API keys. Store them as you store your sandbox keys and send them in the same Authorization header. See Authorization Headers.
Note
The issuance of production keys triggers the start of monthly licensing fees. See the Fee Schedule.
