TransactAPI Documentation

TransactAPI is an HTTPS API that lets broker-dealers, funding platforms, and issuers run online private securities offerings. It handles the whole transaction: onboarding investors, KYC/AML and accreditation checks, subscription documents and e-signature, payments by ACH, wire, check or credit card, and ongoing management of the offering. You integrate it into your own platform instead of building that infrastructure yourself.

Environments

TransactAPI runs in two separate environments. Each has its own Transact Portal and its own records, so nothing you do in one affects the other.

Sandbox is where you build and test your integration. Use test data only; never enter real investor information. Sandbox calls are not billed, and the sandbox provides test data for simulating outcomes such as KYC/AML results, OFAC/SDN matches, and accreditation decisions. Every integration starts here; see Getting Started.

Production is where your live offerings run. It holds real investors, moves real money, and keeps the records your offering relies on for compliance. Some methods are billed here; see the Fee Schedule. Access follows Pre-Live Certification; see Go Live.
